What do you guys think about this? Please dont take this the wrong way however. Its just interesting to see what you can find in the bible.
My question to you guys is why does it say "WE" and "US". Also why was the lord not happy with what our abilitys were (in this case we build the tower of bable). Was he scared that we were becoming to close to gods only thing missing was immortality and he did not want that since we are corrupt or what? Im sure god did this all for a good reason tho. Afterall now that we all can understand each other now we have built some pretty insane stuff. Like Nukes

Genesis 3:22-24 and Genesis 11:5-8

22 And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” 23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side[a] of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.

The Tower of Babel. Remember that the people who built the tower wanted to make a name for themselves. Ironic how The Bible doesn't mention any of their names whatsoever. They also built the tower so they wouldn't be scattered all over the world. That is exactly what happened when their language was confused. Now The Lord said to Abraham that he would make his name great and that is exactly what happened.

The point is that The Lord is the one who makes people's name great and famous. Whenever somebody tried to do it on their own they failed miserably. Hence The Bible does not mention their names at all.

Elohim (God) is always referred to in plural, this is partially due to his multiple natures (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit) It does say Jesus was there since the beginning of creation, etc...

As far as the tower of babel goes, yes you're right. And we are definitely living in a modern day tower of babel, but on a global scale.
