What happens to a child that dies before being baptized. Will they go to heaven? Recently got into it with priest regarding this

Wherever God wants it to go, we can't judge anything. God is the ultimate judge when we die. I have no idea, most likely heaven imo.

Does it not state in the bible you can not enter heaven unless you are washed free of original sin through baptism ?

Yes but how would a baby know how to do that? You're not implying that all babies are in hell are you?

No that is was the priest was telling me. I just dont understand the whole if your not baptized /if you dont except jesus as your savior you wont be let into heaven. what about the people that have never even heard of jesus. Will they go to hell, even if they lived an honest life

The energy which created his/her life will become part of new life.

Just like what's going to happen to the rest of us when we die.

Duh.

I guess its up to God, but being a loving God, I'd think he'd either yes save them, or look down the path of their life in the future as it would have been and go by what was pre-determined before the person was born.
