I have heard that 'wormwood' means Chernobyl in Ukrainian, so I looked into it, and apparently it is another word for it.

But still, Chernobyl didn't kill 1/3 of life on earth or poison 1/3 of the waters or whatever.

Lets take a look at the scripture to see whats to come:

Quote
"And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon a third of the rivers, and upon the springs of water; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and a third of the waters became Bitter; and many people had died of the waters, because they were made bitter." (Revelation 8:10, 11 - KJB)

So, from what we know, it is literally "like a star" burning as it comes down. I suppose it could be a large asteroid or comet.

It causes 1/3 of the rivers & freshwater on earth to become poisoned.

Not too sure, but that star might have symbolized the fall of Lucifer. If so, it would make sense that this star caused 1/3 of the rivers & freshwater on earth to become poisoned.

I also believe wormwood is used as a common ingredient in types of occult magic and mysticism (spells, charms, the works! lol :P )

it clearly says in the bible that the apocalypse is a prediction for 1000 years to come. so if it was written in like, year 50 or 100, it was prooven to be bullshit 900 years ago!

I'm not sure where you're getting that from, but I'd be happy to hear a source or at least a verse in scripture that supports it.

Now, as far as prophecies are concerned, Israel became a nation and the Jews returned to their land in 1948, and thats when the prophetic clock started ticking again.

At this point, nothing else has to happen before the return of Christ. He could come anytime now, and its almost been a generation since 1948 so its gonna be soon. I don't know exactly when, but he sure is near, even at the doors.
