And yes Soundcloud is safe. It's was most people use for their bandpages on facebook. It's a very popular site if your an artist or want to find new artists.

Not bad I bet you can guess what I have to say about the reverb though. Keep it up, good stuff!

As we already talked about, very few actually use reverb. Here's one I found from the first clicked link in here:

No (or very little, as to be almost not noticeable) reverb on the vocals. They are very crisp and clear (minus the intentional echo parts). Go to 2:40 and listen when the instruments are not playing.

Anyway, the whole song had a ton of reverb that sort of drowns everything out. For this style, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but I'd still love to hear some mixes with no reverb some time.

It still has reverb on it though. mine has very little as well. I try to minimize reverb while still making it sound alive.

Yours is completely muddy from the reverb. The song I linked has no noticeable amount on the vocals. It was just the first video I clicked, and as previously stated, a vast majority of songs do not have reverb on the vocals, and certainly not to the extent you are using. I guess it's apples to oranges, as probably within the folk genre, it is used more liberally. Still, it doesn't change that I'd like to hear a mix with 0 reverb so I can see how it really sounds.
