I often get very depressed and I have no reason why. This verse explains exatly what I mean. I was actually saying this exact thing before I even read this verse, thats why it's so powerful to me.

Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
For the help of His countenance
-Psalms 42:5

After my episode of despair my relationship with Christ got stronger, very much stronger. There is only 1 time in my life that I remember such a strong feeling of desire to know him and his wisdom.

Right now, I am making the theme of my life that Christ will be first. I'm not sure that this has ever been true in my life but I hope I'm doing okay so far in his eyes.

Pray for me that I may keep my desire for him and his attitude in my life and continue to put him first in my life. Thanks.

I actually went through this change as well
but it wasnt until i seen the movie The Grace Card.
It really had a strong impact on my life and showed me
that i was not taking advantage of all the opportunities
God has placed for me.
