Back in biblical times, people didn't really have medicine or the technology to heal the sick and wounded, this includes people that are sick with either a virus, or a broken bone/limb
They depended on miracles from Jesus and luck with time to heal them.

As we all know, many elderly people today take medicine, to keep them alive and well.
But we know that medicines (Eg; medicine for your heart, bones, well being, etc) didn't exist back then.

So are we cheating Gods will by falsely improving our health with medicine and doctoral practices? Therefor extending our natural lives?

I'd like to hear peoples input on this, I've been thinking about this for a while.

Well if you believe in the Christian mythology, we were given dominion over the plants and animals, and are the keepers of the earth.
Our own "God" given intelligence allows us to break down these physical components to allow us to break away from the infirmity of primitive life
You tell me

I'm not quite sure of what you just said but I understood that we can 'break down what he gave us and use it as our own'
But I'm sure the people back then didn't have the slightest idea what elements and what vitamins did what.

...to paraphrase -

" all good things come from God " .

...not only did Jesus heal the sick but we are commanded to minister to them as well .

No we are not going against God. There are people who believe we are by taking medicine and of course watch their children die a slow and painful death. How do we know the people that created the medicine werent the works of the Lord? They also didn't have cars, lights or plumbing so is it a sin to flush the toilet?

That brings a point, but flushing the toilet doesn't extend your life.

Many old people take copious amounts of medicine (EVERY DAY)
I'm sure if they hadn't have taken all of that medicine to keep them going, they would have died much sooner.

Quite the opposite.

So you're saying, he wants (or likes us) to take these naturally unnatural (If that makes sense...) substances and consume them to prolong our lives?

A better question is what specific scripture leads you to think this is against God's will? That would probably be a better thing to discuss.

I agree with Njag. People often try to decide what is sinful and what is not, but if it's not in scripture, you can't say it's sin for everyone.

Certain people do have different personal convictions, but sin is defined in God's Word.
