Hi all. I am going into my second year as a youth ministry intern at a church near my university. This summer I was hosted by a couple - empty nesters and faithful servants of our church and the Lord. They are literally two of the best people I have ever known. Their son is a missionary in Afghanistan. He was home for about a two month break, just got engaged, and was preparing to head back. About two weeks ago he came down with Mono. On his flight down to Orlando, doctors believe he received another unknown virus because his immune system was already shot from the Mono. He has been in and out of the hospital three times this week, and now doctors are being cautious with their words. He looks very gaunt, and has gone through several IVs today alone. Please pray for this servant. Pray for his parents and loved ones - that they will understand, that they will depend on God, and that God would use his healing hand.
