ok am lost i love my gf and we plan on getting married soon here is the post i made to make sure you guys the full ideal

any who i was talking to my friend who knows the lord vary well, he was telling me that god speaks to us but vary rarely in our dreams...

so if a couple has the same dream about getting married then.... this is really hard to explain, am just going to leave it there

not only that i love my gf vary much but yet the bible says

1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. if i love her so much then why do i get angry easy and why am i rude, am i being to hard on my self???

Nope everyone gets angry. If you assume because you love her that you shouldn't get angry, your setting yourself up for failure. God could be talking to you in your dream, but chances are it's your subconscious since it's obvious your stressing over it. If you're worried then wait for marriage. You said yourself marriage is patient so don't rush.

It's a relationship, You bend, you break. That's what you do. Your job is to do anything and everything to keep her happy.


If you are so concerned put your trust in the lord. He will take care of everything.


Point is..... If you're having doubts about it, don't do it.

Marriage is the most sacred thing and you Cannot get a divorce unless one or the other commits adultery.

About this post.. I also urge you to put your trust in the Lord and pray that things will work out. But I would be very hesitant before marriage. Because it is a lifetime commitment.

But God knows we are sinful and knows we are going to divorce. The bible says if you lust you have commuted adultry. So this to me is no excuse for divorce because you WILL do it.

I was not having second thoughts until shes said she loves me than the lord, that was just a big turn off for me...

and when i tell her you should love the lord more than me she gets really upset, not only that i have read 1 Corinthians 13 4 to her and well she does not apply 1 corinthians 13 4. Apply 1 Corinthians 13 4 is what i didn't do until i when to church one Sunday and its like god is growing with in me, it was just this last Sunday as a matter of fact, its like a had has touch me spiritually because i can now apply 1 Corinthians 13 4 with eeeezzzzzzzzzzz.

and it like scene last Sunday i see all the sin she and my self are doing, i can work on my self and improve on it, but its like when i see her singing my feels for her fade away, i think its because shes not counted to lord like i am.

not only that lol its like every time i ask the lord if me and gf are suppose to be together he shows something about me and her that's going to happen in the future.

If she said " I love you more than the Lord ", chances are you don't have to worry about her lying. Most people love multiple things more than the Lord and either don't accept that or realize that.

Now ask yourself ( considering this is your first post on the Christian forum which just happens to be about your girlfriend and not the Lord ) do you truly love the lord more than her?

yes i do, he is the way and the light, it hurts me that shes does not feel the same way about the lord... with that said and done, does the mean were note equally youth??? (how ever you spell it)

she invest more time in me than she does the lord, for what i can see it use to not be that way till she met me.

All I can say is pray about it then man. If you are really as close toGod as you make yourself sound, then I truly respect you. Bless you and may your prayers be answered
