So, I've talked to multiple people about their definition of what " sin" truly is. Every person gives me a different answer. " yeah but this means " , " what it's trying to say is " and the list goes on. How are we judged by what we can't understand? And also, someone told me meditating and thing of this nature is a sin. My thing is, if we can do it, it's a sin. In otherwords if our body is able to do it why not?

I was talking to someone about the possibility of ET's and she said " my friend is so stupid. She believes that aliens are cloning the earth and if you believe in them you go to the new planet, and I'd you don't you blow up". I replied " oh shes a Christian" at which point she got obviously offended but found it to be pretty true.

Is it bad to Believe that?

Ever lied? Ever stolen anything? Even something small?

Jesus took it a step further saying, if you have ever had a hateful thought toward your brother, you are guilty of murder.

The 10 commandments put us in a state realizing our complete fallen nature as a human being.

No one has been able to keep God's law, and is therefore guilty, justly deserving hell. No sin can exist in the presence of a just and holy God, therefore we are not worthy.

But there is good news, Jesus paid the price for our sin on the cross, that we might come to him and accept the free gift of salvation.

Wowzers, it doesn't really matter. According to Christian dogma, every single person on the planet is a sinner. Thus, it really doesn't matter which actions are sinful, since you and everyone else are already sinners. It teaches that what's important is asking for forgiveness. If you ask and are sorry, you'll be forgiven. Otherwise, you go to hell. Whether your sin is stealing a paperclip from work or blowing up a schoolbus full of children is largely irrelevant.
