I believe everyone has the right to follow whichever religion as they choose, but I get a little stumped by some of my finding talking to Christians. The religion has changed a lot in the past 2000 years, I've noticed more and more Christians believe in little offset "correct beliefs" of their own. For example, I hear of some churches whom allow lesbian & homosexual priests. If the religion is to teach you that homosexuality is wrong, why are they allowing this? How do you think God sits there and allows his followers to be taught by a person whom doesn't even follow the correct religious aspects of the religion?

I don't know, I find a lot of loopholes in the bible (which makes sense because it was written by hundreds of different people)

First, I'm sorry that I can't write so good english. Please try to understand my point. :)

Bible is full of loopholes, there is no reason to keep concentrating on those. When I read the bible I prefer to keep Jesus work in the center and everything else is kind a supporting what Jesus told us.

What comes for a homosexual people: Personally I think that if they are willing to spread the word on mercy they are doing a great job. Deep down we all are a sinners so I can't judge those. I don't think homosexuality is a sin but the act of making love is. If there is love there is always hope. Bible is contradictory but main message is john 3:16. Also please read Luke 6:27-36.

Long as you believe that Jesus is a son of God you are in a right path.

Classical Christianity. You don't add or subtract from it, but just look at what JESUS said himself.

40 Authors. And 2/3 of the New Testament was written by Paul.

Did you know that before Paul was changed by Jesus, he was Saul, and he killed many thousands of Christians?

Our LORD is amazing, and with him, anything is possible.

Well Christianity is based in Jesus Christ. Yes I know that Paul did hunt Christian people and turned later on. That is what he is writing about in the bible.

Church is a place for sinners. Why else would someone need to go to church if they were already righteous? Allowing homosexuals to be in church doesn't make christianity less true. We just believe that God will ultimately change their views as well as their hearts. God leads us sometimes in unpredictable ways, sometimes even through conviction.

I guess the best way to answer this question is to believe in two basic principles:

1: we are not god, so we can;t speak for him
2: who are we to judge others

christianity does have its loop holes, its flaws.... but the question is. is it flawed because it was written so long ago? or because so many people have reinterpreated it along the way? I have no issue with a gay/homosexual sitting next to me in church.

I'm going to clear this up a little bit because most of the time, people don't check for themselves, and just go with what the other atheists say.

A: It was only written 2000 years ago, because Jesus Christ was sent to this planet to make a way for us.

or because so many people have reinterpreated it along the way?

A: It hasn't been re-interpreted or changed at all! Its the exact same as the 6000+ original manuscripts that are available to us right now.

Can you give any examples of any loopholes?

first of all dont act like i am an idiot. The bible has been released in various forms. King james, NIV. every time the words change a little. Think it is possible the words have been changed to reflect their interpretation of what it means????? religion is flawed because man is flawed. I dont believe jesus said everyone who doesnt believe in him is going to burn in hell. That would mean peopel in remote villages would burn cause they dont know any missionaries??????
