Is it true that people can not be "unsaved"? For instance one was a Christian before but then fall away. Are they still saved? As in will they still be going to heaven??

"It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance while to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace." - Heb 6:4-6 (niv)

"if they fall away" - if they reject Jesus after having already believed and accepted him. You'd have to really mean it.

A lot of atheists are made up of Christians who acknowledges Jesus with their lips, but deny him by their lifestyle.

That to me is worse than someone who never accepted God in the first place - turning away from the One who gave you so much... not acceptable.

I always went by these verses myself....

John 10:24-30
King James Version (KJV)
24Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30I and my Father are one.

So, true Christians cannot be "unsaved"

Yes, exactly. You cannot "Lose" your salvation. Those who say they were once a Christian honored him with their lips, but they were never actually saved.
