I am curious on your perspective on gay Christians and whether these two words can be in the same sentence. I'm aware that there are a lot of haters out there, and I am not interested in hearing their opinions so please refrain from posting your hate comments on homosexuality. What I want to hear is what God has to say about homosexuality. I have a few gay friends who grew up in a Christian family and they left their church because their church were against homosexuality. They explained to me about how they wanted to be straight so bad, and begged God to change them, but He wouldn't. I think (now this is my personal opinion, not what the Bible says) that maybe God made them that way for a reason. Every human is different and complex. Each one of us is very special in God's eyes.

homosexuality in the bible is still a debated topic due to the inconsistency of scholars in translating the word from Greek to English that supposedly meant homosexuality.

Romans 1:

False, we have been through this. There several scriptures that show homosexuality is not approved by God. I guess I will have to copy and paste what I posted in the other thread.

Captncrunch, there is no such thing as a gay Christian.

Torm1 gives a very nice example. One that I quoted already in the other post. There are sooo many more that speaks against homosexuality.

I have nothing against gay people. I love everyone, "even MCS " but according to God's word practicing gays will not inherit the kingdom of God.

That's exactly like saying there's no such thing as a lying Christian, or as an adulterous Christian, or any other kind of sinning Christian.

Guess there's no such thing as a Christian then, unless you're saying the instant a person becomes a Christian they stop sinning for the rest of their lives.
