God didn't do it, human beings being vile and wicked did it. God didn't explicitly intervene. So I guess in that sense he allowed it, but then again he allows us to live and breathe and we also sin every day. Just because we aren't responsible for the murder of 11 million people doesn't mean we necessarily deserve to live, and yet he allows us to live.
I think this argument is invalid, and I think the OP is wacked to say they had it coming...

You always hear people say: "how can God do this to his chosen people (the Jews)."
It is true that they are Gods people, but imagine the people you love and care for so much laughs and mocks you and to this day still believes their Messiah is yet to come.
Tbh it serves them right having all this wealth, living comfortably and arrogantly claiming they're the chosen ones.
So yeah, I think God created the Holocaust. I would have done the same.
Thoughts?
So I guess America is next right?
In all seriousness though, there are really strong rebukes for those who have pharisaical tendencies. Who claim to be children of God and blatantly disregard God's love and his justice by the way they live their lives.
