I seek to understand something that concerns the entire USA. I just started this digging, but the more i know, at least the more i, myself understand.
2 things i have confirmed:

There is a 50% divorce, out of every married couple in the USA.
Christian Marriages are hit harder

What i have gathered just from observation, my own opinion, hopefully based on actual events/logic

We are finally in a time where civil rights are enforced. Women and men have the right to choose their spouse.
i feel this is great, but i feel when people choose, what auto-runs through their mind.-

Think about it, what do people talk about at pick-up sports, lunch at work, hang-outs
They talk about good job(one of my friends only revealed job after 6months), Professional sports players, ivy/very high ranked college of son/daughter(i noticed the medium colleges don't get talked about)
"how much money u have, can make, status/power/degree/job=money

president of the united states has bodyguards. wat are those guards paid? money
if a guy has multiple friends that are girls, its a no no
y not? 3 friends of the opposite gender gives lots of options to look at

but no, she will hook onto one guy.

to younger ppl, the knight is well, a younger version of bill gates
i say not that bill gates himself is superficial, i say what ppl see him as is superficial

But I understand what you're saying about the divorce rates. If people really gave a crap about the sanctity of marriage, they'd stop spending millions of dollar lobbying to suppress gay rights and start spending millions of dollars to suppress everyone's rights by banning divorce. As far as I know, only one group of people is standing up to fight to preserve marriage as it was intended -- "Til Death Do You Part."

As for ur opinion: Divorce is not just about marriage.
Things that are players in this divorce game: Parents who don't mature but instead "i have to live on, screw learning new things, screw ur opinion"
Drugs over-alchohol over-cigarettes
Peer-pressure to make money
girls demanding 1:1, "u can't have any friends that are girls"
A-hole guys that open the door to divorce for the girl "leading the girl on, not knowing that he's been a A-hole for 10 years" "better yet, thinking A-hole is a way of life"

You're not really asking any question. I assume you want to know why the divorce rates are so high? The answer is because people don't have the same respect for marriage that they used to. It has fundamentally changed as society has changed in the past 50 years. People want to preserve the sanctity of marriage? I'm saying it's already gone, and that's why divorce rates are as high as they are.
