My friend got shot in the head 3 years ago. He was in a coma for 2 weeks and I asked everyone I knew to say a prayer for his family.

I wasn't religious at the time but I did believe in God, although I questioned his level of involvement on this earth.

After 2 weeks he woke up out of his coma and survived. The only thing he has trouble with is recognizing faces now but evrything else about him is perfectly fine.

Just read a thread that made me remember this and reminded me there is somebody out there looking out for us. Whether others believe it or not...

I find it comforting hearing stories like this.

9 years ago at a little league game a boy collapsed from heat exhaustion and was revived by a completely random lady using CPR. If she hadn't performed CPR on him he wouldn't have made it by the time the paramedics got there.

Flash forward 9 years later and a lady is eating at a restaurant, she starts choking on her food. A 17 year old boy performs the heimlich on her and saves her life.

They were the same people from the prior incident.

Life is too complex and the world is too small of a place for there to be any coincidences.

True, everything happens for a reason. Atheists are always saying that it is a 'coincidence' but through personal experience if it happens time after time after time then 'coincidence' just seems like a very weak argument. After awile you have to believe that there is a greater force working at hand.
