To the OP:
A lot of the answers to your questions can only come from opinion. When it comes to God and religion very little can be "proven". So these are my opinions on your question... God created everything, even Lucifer. For what reason? Who knows the answer to that question other than God? I think a person's moral compass determines what's good and evil. I think a healthy relationship with God strengthens that moral compass because your heart is open to His love, forgivness and guidance. However, I know people who don't believe in God but are very "good". On the flip side of that, there are people doing horrible things in God's name, they are by my definition bad. So what makes a person good or bad and where does that moral compass come from? You're never going to get a straight answer here for that question I'm afraid. I'm sure many people in this forum being Christians will say good comes from God and evil from satan, but in the end it comes down to what YOU believe. I believe everything good and bad about me comes from God and that God gave me the flaws to prove I'm not perfect and teach me humilty. Satan only has the hold I allow him to have in my life.
