If you're a sinner, and you swear a lot, and do things that are like against the will of god, or w/e..
And you repent or confess, you'll be forgiven and still go to heaven ?

i dont think it was that simple, i think its if you truly and honestly feel bad than i thino so.

Repent - to feel sorry, self-reproachful, or contrite for past conduct; regret or be conscience-stricken about a past action, attitude, etc.

If this is a true emotion then you will be forgiven. Half heartedly saying sorry for your transgressions does not work. Habitual sins are a tough topic and God knows this, so if you really try to stop swearing or looking at porn, He understands. You have to actually try and understand why it's wrong though.

e: It's more of a total life change process to eliminate factors that encourage bad behavior.

Swearing is only a way to express anger. I don't get why you class it as a sin.

Based upon your posts that I have seen thus far, you are not a Christian. This is a Christian Fellowship forum - not a place for you to instigate.

Swearing as an expression of anger is sinful in many ways, and it is definitely not only a way to express anger.

yes, you will go to heaven, just like me, i'm going to heaven my friend, do i still swear alot? yes, do i do alot of things that are against hte will of god? yes, plenty of times, i still have a sin nature
it's the object of your faith that is important, confessing you are a sinner to jesus christ and asking him to forgive you, that is the faith that allows people to go to heaven, it's faith that is not completely understandable, but like a child you must put your faith on him and only him

repenting means to recieve forgiveness for your sins (Jesus died. just ask for forgiveness -- but MEAN IT.)
and then to turn away from it, and never look back -- so you acctually feel bad and dont do it and realize that Jesus' love is better.

Also -- do not confess to your priest. Jesus is the only way to the Father. its written



Your goal should not be Heaven, your goal should be His love. Anything else than that is just some weird twisted doctrine that doesnt have Love at the center.
Jesus didnt die out of profit for Himself , He died to show He loves you, and to say that You are marked by Him, and nothing can tear you away.
