True story. This was never rehearsed or thought up.
It has nothing to do with me except that i decided to open my mouth to preach God's word.
I wrote this down after having it flow out of me when my boss was questioning the truth of the bible.
He had a lot of doubts about a cruel God who punished the world and I believe that this rhyme, as funny as it is, clears up some misconceptions.
Yo my name is Evan and I am [pause] not going to heaven,
because heaven is not a place that you go when you die,
according to the bible it’s the air and the [pause] sky,
but no I don’t dread the day that I die,
I patiently await to finally close my eyes,
because the next place I will be is with God in paradise,
and the only way to enter is believing in Christ.

I preach Jesus Christ and that he brought a new birth!

I stand six foot two, that’s taller than most,
that’s not what brings me closer to my heavenly host,
it doesn’t matter how much bible you have heard,
God first others second, I am willing to be third,
we know who knows Him by who keeps his word,

God has had me engraved on his palms,
so I went and tattooed His word on my arms.
Ephesians chapter 5 defines real men,
be ye mimics of God as dear children.
as God does for us, we should do to other men,
He has no hands but our hands with which to mend,
not doing good when you have a chance is sin,
He searches your heart so you can never pretend,
if you wont be humble to His word,
you will be humbled by this world,

God is every where there’s no reason to be scared,
He gave us sound minds so we don’t have to fear,
God is spirit [pause] love and light pure,
He casts no shadow when he turns,
the devils are the only ones who will burn,
ceasing to exist is for those who wont learn,
yea hell is in your bible, the hebrew word sheol,
it’s where the garbage went in the cities of old,
it always burned so there’s no stank or mold,
they knew our bodies go from dust to dust,
so they threw out corpses with the trash,
and knew better than to make a big fuss,
my God is all good so in Him freely trust!
