So where do you guys think the line between rebuking your friends and judging your friends? i've been having some trouble with this lately and it's with some of my friends that are new believers and i understand it is difficult for them as they are new believers but if they haven't read if for themselves i feel like it's up to me to share it with them what they're doing is wrong and a lot of the time they blow me off and say that i'm just judging them

It is not your job to judge people, that is the Lord your God's job. Leave that to him. You need to be patient with your friends as they are only new and they are settling in.

the thing is i'm not trying to judge them i'm trying to let them know that what they're doing is a sin and trying to rebuke them

2 timothy 3:16+17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Well you can do it but as long as you don't OVERDO it because then you are just seen as a fussy put who looks at every single little thing they do and God will return the favour back unto you when your time comes.

Remember to look at the reason WHY you are rebuking them, is it because of love or is it because you are trying to put them down to make yourself look better? Also look at how you say what you say, you can say that they are idiots for doing that thing or you can let them know why it is wrong and let it go.

It isn't your place to judge those who are every bit as guilty as you. You sin and they sin. According to the Bible, the judge is God, not men. You have no place to cast a stone when they could very well cast 100 back in your face.

Use scripture to reveal it to them, dont just be like "oh, lust is bad." (example) show them where it says "flee from youthful lust." and where it says to keep your eyes clean

Things of that nature will hit harder than you telling them what is right and wrong, because we cant see through the eyes of God - but we have his word.
