I am a member of the Church. The Koine / Hellenistic Greek of the word, Ekklesia basically means "called out ones" and is a totally different concept than people use the term for in today's world.
Denominations are mostly labeled groups that once experienced a major move of God's will and presence and decided it was a good thing and name themselves as a group, as being a part of it. I do see a problem, in that most stay there. Occasionally this leads to a form of legalism and that is bad, sad and you should avoid it if you can. Not that many have a label but the legalism.
I currently have been placed withing a group that consider themselves pentecostal/non-denominational somethingish and that could turn totally around tomorrow if I am led to do so.

Moving on for a better explanation...

I have no idea what kind of churches and denominations there are atm. There are so many to choose from.
Still looking for one which feels best since I only came to faith months ago.
The objective is to seek God and be led by His Spirit to determine what family of believers you should worship and fellowship with.
He has a place for you. You need to seek it out through Him, not reason it out by your own standards.

I'm sure you'll find one. The most important thing to remember is building your relationship with God.
This is a great point. As you grow your relationship with Him, you will more clearly see what you need to do and understand how He is leading you.

I am a born again Christian and go to a Bible based church .
The underlined is also a good point. There is a difference between natural reasoning and reasoning with wisdom . (best as I can explain it quickly)
Jesus and His Word are synonymous. The Holy Spirit leads your within the confines of God's laws but does not beat you into submission with them because if you are being led, you are withing them.
In short, you need to be with believer who are teaching you Biblical truth in the context of God's unconditional love and grace.
If there are any questions, toss me a PM.
May the Agape and Shalom of our Lord overflow from your heart.
