This sub is a great idea! :)

I just hope that the people with a child-like mind won't come here and spam this section full of "666" topics, etc.

My personal favorite is Ecclesiastes.

I like it how the book gives us a nihilist way of thinking the bible. Although imho the book is written with lots of sarcasm, but I don't mean that it's a bad thing.

I've read the book thousend times over :)

How about you? What's your favorite book?

Ecclesiastes is my favorite too, but I don't think it's sarcasm. It feels more like despair to me--the kind of despair that comes after a life of arrogant self-assuredness when you realize that none of it mattered. I love that feeling :)

Personally, I find the book of the Revelation of John to be very interesting. I used to read it over and over when I was younger. :)

The Gospel of John.

The more I understand Koine and the culture of the area at the time it was written, the more it shines as an amazing meditative reflection of God's unconditional love towards both every individual person and the whole of mankind.
