your past, including mistakes and hardships, doesn't define your future in Christ

In Isaiah 43:18-19, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”



No matter what people say or do or how they judge you your past is your past Everybody has a past no matter if it's a sin or something you've done Doesn't matter if you've said something or if you've done something Thank God for His mercy every day!!

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Do you ever feel like that you can bring up somebody's past but you try to be a good person good hearted person not that we're perfect at it 'cause we'll never be that way And you try to look over people's problems and issues and you still try to be like the best person you can be not at work perfect and when always do everything right but you just try to do the right thing and you still get judge I guess that's just the way I am as a person not looking at people's past and forgiving people 'cause I'm very much of a forgiving person and that's the way we're supposed to be but not everybody sees it that way I guess the world would be a better place yes Everybody says stuff and everybody does stuff but the world would be better if we learned to let things go and move on from the past!! Just know that your past is forgiven and that God loves you just as much as the next person and that everything will be fine it's not the end of the world It might make that person feel better if they feel like they can hold your past against you but just know as long as you try your best every day That's all that matters
