At 33:10 David Wilkerson says: You have to have a Word from God. You have to be led by the Spirit of the Lord and He wants you to do it and if you'll just get alone with Him, and believe that He's there, that He wants to talk to you, He will! He'll speak to you. There'll be a still small voice, saying, 'This is the way, walk you in it.' and wait for that Voice. Well you say the devil's there. What you do is you go into the Presence of the Lord and take Authority in Jesus Name over every lying spirit, every principality and power of darkness, and you say Holy Spirit I'm going to love You, I'm going to Worship Jesus, and then you get specific you tell Him exactly what your problem is, you ask Him specific questions, you ask Him exactly what you'd ask a friend or you'd ask me and you get real with Him, you say, Holy Spirit, you abide in me, speak to me, talk to me. God is no respecter of persons. You don't have to be a peter or a Paul. You don't have to be a pastor. He'll speak to you as plainly as any man or woman on the face of the earth. He'll talk to you.
I have heard the still small voice of the Lord God by the Holy Spirit a few times,
once when I was struggling with nicotine vaping, I heard Him say 'put it under My feet,'
I have heard Him say, 'speak to your mother,'
I have heard Him say 'well done' when rebuking multitudes of thoughts, feelings, emotions, and sensations in Jesus Name relating to the home that I live and past experiences,
I have heard Him quote scripture to me, and the same scripture would be something a dear friend and brother in Christ would then speak on in depth the following day, on multiple occasions,
Beloved,
God is our Father, and Jesus Christ is our Lord also the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit is ever present with us. If you want to draw closer to Him, set time aside, get into a quite space, go into your prayer closet, and draw near to Him and He will draw near to you in Jesus Name.
