With all that is happening today the best equipment you can get is completely free and given by God Himself through Jesus Christ.
Our world will always try to equip us with all kinds of things, from politicians to salesmen to department stores and grocery stores, and among these things are mixed ideologies mixed with numerous false religions which are false because they are man made, except for Jesus Christ and the Word of His Father which He gave us. He equips us directly through His Word and arms us with His Spirit, He Himself being our sword and our shield. He gave us the Gospel of Peace to shod our feet, the Belt of Truth to be girded at all times, the Breastplate of Righteousness which is faith and love, and the Helmet of Salvation which is our Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
What are the thoughts of His Hand toward us who believe?
The fruit of the Holy Spirit is mentioned by St Paul in his letter to the Galatians 5:22 as the virtues of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
