I was reading 2 Timothy 1:9 because you have posted it on here. It has been a while since I have read the bible. I am ashamed Ive went away and stumbled. I know it sais God will forgive...Sometimes it feels too much for someone to forgive. He is a patient, kind, loving God. I just wish I could understand the bible fully. I have read the New Testament but theres much I dont remember. Mostly because I read it like a book than a book of knowledge and guidance. I am going to start reading more and more hopefully I can do whats right in Gods eyes. Since I started reading 2 Timothy because of you...I continued reading more of 2 Timothy and noticed these scriptures:
"Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponent's must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will." 2 Timothy 2:22-26 I never knew this was in there...I always thought that a person is a person and it doesnt matter how they act....even if they are a christian...I thought all people have a their good days and bad days, but now I see that if you are a christian it is your duty to be happy and content for what you are serving and show other people the good news. I heard in church by someone preaching on stage that "if someones sees that your happy...they will want what you have so its your duty to be happy in the faith." I guess theres some truth in that.
I found this for you for what you have done here...just showing what you have been doing thru God
"All Scripture is God-breathed and ise useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17I know this is long...but please dont delete.
Thank You for ALL Your Encouragement.... you know it is needed
