I honestly am not sure what you're saying Heights. You're quoting a bunch of verses that seem to back up and lend credence to a heaven and hell. Are you quibbling over what it's called; eg: hell? The other verses I listed clearly indicate that there are two places, and two types of people, saved (righteous) and unsaved. Matthew 25:46, for instance is the common definition of what most people consider hell and heaven, respectively to the verse. It sort of seems like now you're saying there is neither a heaven nor a hell, but again, I think you're confusing distinctly different verses. Clearly Isaiah 65:17-19 is not referring to anything in our history or current lifetime, and could only mean an after-apocalypse type event that has yet to occur. However, this makes little sense for Jesus to promise a paradise to someone whom was going to die with him on the cross, when the verse in Isaiah clearly states: "The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind."

Daniel 12:2 is but one reference of an "everlasting" or "eternal" after death "life". There are many others, as well. If you're one of those people that says "oh no, everlasting/eternal actually means eon!", there is an excellent rebuttal that I remember reading that someone else already wrote up on this very subject, showing clearly that eon is not the correct definition to be using in most of these passages, as well as what the actual Greek word for what we know as an eon is. It goes on further to show passages where using these words to mean eon would be contradictory. Rather than go down that path, I'd rather just point you out to extensive research that others have already done on the subject.

There is merit only in the truth.

"Heaven" is the abode of God...

"The highest heavens belong to Yahweh, but the earth he has given to man." - Psalms 115:16 (n.i.v)

This is what Yahweh says:
"Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?" - Isaiah 66:1 (n.i.v)

I believe the "paradise" Jesus Messiah promised to the thief on the cross was the future paradise earth. (Isaiah 11:6-9; 65:17-25; 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1-5).

"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy." - Isaiah 65:17-19

That is just refering to God asking for the Tabernacle lol

And in the other verse he is just refering to how he is going to make a new heaven and earth when the rapture if finished.

Go make your own religion and call is life on earth.
People seem to think that you can "interpret" the bible in different ways, when there is only 1 truth and 1 way. There is not 2 truths, there is either a heaven or a hell or there isn't and Jesus refered to heaven and hell alot and there are sooo many verses directly refering to it, not some metaphor crap like your talking about.

You can go on believing there is not heaven and hell, I don't care. Just stop trying to drag people down with you, with this retarded deception.

You are right in saying this.

Where did I say I believed that? Do you still not understand what I've been trying to explain?
