THERE come times in every person’s life when you experience a GETHSEMANE. It feels as if everything and everyone has abandoned you … even GOD. It is a place of soul struggle, remorse and STRESS. A place where the enemy attacks you and where you experience intense temptation and purification. You feel weak and extremely VULNERABLE. In Gethsemane you are totally ALONE … without your best friend; without your minister or pastor; without your husband, wife or children. There you sweat blood. Sometimes it feels like you are going to ‘crack’ … and sometimes you do. In Gethsemane, you get to know GOD face to face. There you must DECIDE whether you are going to follow your own head, or surrender to GOD’s perfect WILL. The DECISIONS you make in Gethsemane have an irrevocable IMPACT on your life and future. But always remember: Gethsemane never lasts FOREVER. GOD will send his angels to STRENGTHEN you in your hour of crisis. No TEMPTATION or struggle will ever be too BIG for you. Your WHEEL will surely turn again, says the LORD. After the cross, comes the CROWN.
