So you're telling me that you have nothing constructive to add to any discussion? If you're afraid to stand up for your point of view because you're afraid you'll offend someone, you're in the wrong place. Offending someone is inevitable in a discussion about any important topic; in fact, it's unavoidable if you have vested interests in the conversation. Of course, there are ways to go about this discussion civilly (without diverting from the topic and resorting to ad hominems), but even in civil discussion you will inevitably offend someone. Educating the ignorant is also called respect; it is caring enough about the other person to allow them to see both sides.
I feel as if your emotions are getting in the way of the reality of the situation. I don't see a single thing wrong with having one thread pertaining to encouragement and its relevant discussion; you will still be able to say what you need to say. It seems to me as if you have a vested interest in promoting multiple threads just because you want to flaunt your beliefs and unnecessarily impose them on others, which, ironically, I see as not the Christian way to do things.
You would see them that way due to your seemingly closed mindedness. I'm standing up for what I believe in right now and you're telling me I'm in the wrong place to do that even though you just told me to do just that. I don't set out to intentionally offend people, and when I see that my comments might offend or hurt someone I back off and try to either not say it at all or phrase it in such a way it's not rude or hurtful. You offend me by trying to push my beliefs aside and say there is no place for me to discuss them. I am not trying to impose my beliefs on anyone else, hense why I'm in this thread and not in someone else's talking about my beliefs. You, however, are here trying to tear that down. You don't believe in the OP and you're complaining about spam, then why are you in this thread trying to flaunt your disbelief? That itself is offensive, Sir.
