You are not who people say you are; you are who God says you are. People can’t always see what God put inside your heart; they can’t see the potential, the gifts and the greatness. Don’t let people put their limitations on you and convince you that you can’t accomplish your dream. God didn’t make anyone average. Nobody has your fingerprints; nobody can do what you can do. But as long as you believe you’re ordinary, you won’t shine like you’re supposed to shine.

You may feel lost at times, but trust that God is at work. He’s not finished with you yet, and he is on a search and rescue mission to recover every single lost or broken thing in your life. With God you are never disqualified. Your mistakes don’t cancel his grace. He will use everything in your past to launch you into your future.

Who do you say you are: average, limited, disadvantaged, not able to? That will keep you from your destiny. Instead of letting people define you, instead of letting your past label you, why don’t you go back to what God says about you? He’s the one that made you into a unique and special person. You can’t say I’m weak and tap into the power. You can’t say I’ll never get ahead and tap into the abundance. You can’t say I’m not talented and tap into your greatness.

Who can you bless today with a word, deed, prayer or phone call? You never know how your prayers and thoughtfulness can make a difference.

Clear out the negative. You have enough people in life against you; don’t be against yourself. What’s trying to stop you doesn’t have a chance. God being for you is more than the world being against you. What God has in store for you is going to amaze you. The doors he’s going to open, the people he’s going to bring across your path, the influence he’s going to give you, the places he’s going to take you are far better than you can imagine.

Good or bad, words are small seeds that can make a huge difference in the present and future. Use your words to bring life to the people around you.

God wants us to shine in this world like stars in the sky, and live with enthusiasm and with expectancy of what he can do in our lives.
