This wasn't a direct conversation between me and him, but rather his sermon on adultery.
I disagree, in all honesty, simply because those "impure" thoughts are human. Its ones faith, morality and common sense that leads a human to not follow those thoughts, and to do what is right in the legal, moral, and/or Christian way.
You can't say you're a sinner for thinking about another attractive female, because there's parts of your brain that specifically make you do so. That leads us into the whole topic of whether humans are born "bad" and have to work towards "good"
It's what one does or doesn't do that makes them a sinner in the Christian sense of the word.
(Personally, I'm agnostic, but I understand the base principles of Christianity better than a lot of Christians I've met on the internet)
(I was raised in a Christian family, church every Sunday, same as my father, very small close-knit town.)
