I have said all I need to say on this subject. If you choose to believe to that, then I respect your belief and will not try to change it. However the bible clearly teaches otherwise and anyone who reads my replies here has no excuse come judgement day.

i am not sure on this question but this is what i believe. God know who his true followers are, and whom are not. The bible says a man must be baptised in water to see the kingdom of heaven. i believe God knows if you have or havent had a chance to get baptised. for example, if God presents you with the circumstance of getting baptised in water and you object, then i think you better get it right. Im open to any disagreements. I recently got saved and have a undenying hunger for the word of God.

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5

That is great. From your quote of John 3:5 I take it you were baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for the remission of sin immediately after repenting and confessing Christ as the Son of God before men.

the bible does not say that. Read Acts ch. 10:44-48. A clear instance where gentiles had received the holy spirit (which comes at salvation, not even kissofdeath argues that) and had not been baptized with water.

lol? who do you think you are? You are a servant of Christ.
You are right, we do not have an excuse come judgement day, but not becuase of you or your self-proclaimed infinite knowledge of God. The reason we dont have an excuse is because we have the truth of God handy in the bible.

We have been through that one before and they were baptized with water.  You seem to want to forget Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38 and all the other bible commandments for baptism.

I don't have infinite knowledge of anything LOL. I would rather you or anyone else be mad at me than for me to tell you something, anything that is against God's word.

Words, tone of voice, facial expressions cannot be seen nor heard through words on a screen. People interpret the Bible different in many things. I have my way, you have yours and others have their way. I think my way is the way of God, you have to think your way is. In the end everyone will know. I love you and everyone else, I mean no harm. Forgive me if I have offended you. :(

Torm1, I love you so don't take it the wrong way when I keep trying to convince you baptism has everything to do with salvation.

The Bible says it saves us.

Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

1 Peter 3:21 "The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"

The Bible says Baptism is necessary

John 3:5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Matt 3:13-15
(13) Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
(14) But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
(15) And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

The Bible says baptism is commanded.

Matt 28:19-20
(19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
(20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Acts 10:48
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

The Bible says baptism brings us into contact with the blood of Christ.

Col 2:11-13
(11) In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
(12) Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
(13) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

1 John 5:8
And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The Bible says baptism places us “in Christ”

Gal 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Col 3:2
3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

The evidence is overwhelming. That's why I am a member of the Church of Christ.

I have read it before, but you know, the word "Baptised" means? It means to be cleansed.

Baptized by the Holy Spirit.
