I recently had a huge addiction to heroine. Every time I did it I heard a voice inside my head telling me not to do it. This is not the life I want to live. I to this day believe this was our lord trying to help me get my life on the correct path. :)

To this day I haven't touched it and i'm living a strong healthy life. Thank you god!

Anyone have stories to share?

Heroin addiction is overcome through dedication (that voice in your head). It had little to do with faith, unless of course you wish to displace your perseverance onto a divine figure, in which case you now have little say in your own actions.

Anyways, god has never helped me personally, but I know many people who say god has given them hope when they thought they had none, or advice when they felt like they were in the dark.

God saves me and everyone else every day of our lives. His blood covers all of our sins and makes us clean.

It's awesome to know that!

god has done nothing but waste my time, in pondering if there really is a god.

No, that is you wasting your time. Everybody else accepts that there is a God. Just a thought, if God didn't exist why is it that whenever we turn to the Christian God via prayer, or shouting out, or thinking "I need your help God" why is it that our luck suddenly seems to change for the better? Especially after 15 years of bad luck and suddenly it all falls into place when you turn to God, and he doesn't even exist? How can you explain something like that huh?

The only real, LOGICAL explanation is that there is a God, God does exist. Not only that but the Christian God is the one that is helping us when we need it. So therefore God exists.

What other faith is there? All faith is blind.

100 fg to the person who gives me a legitimate argument to start believing.
I do not believe, i however do not feel hate for religion.
I challenge you to turn me over :)

A person can share the Way and you can see it as worthy of pursuing but only God extends a hand and leaves you a choice to accept it.
