Altering your body in anyway is a sin, but we were born into a world of sin and by the grace of god where saved.

IMO if we would worry about everything we done wrong and think we werent saved well i dont really need to get into it but we'd all be going to hell also with that being say you just cant keep repeat the same sin over an over and an think that god will turn a cold shoulder to it.

Man, I've got bad news for ya, you're going straight to hell :(

I got good news for you.
No one has ever gone to hell for sinning... Ever

But do whatever you want dude, this crap is no one elses business.
Get 80,000 piercings. It won't make a difference in your relationship with christ unles you let it distract you.

Stop thinking of stuff like this so religiously.

God knew when he made the law that NO ONE would ever be able to obey it all (except Jesus of course). God made the law so that we would recognize that we need a savior, he never made the law for us to obey every little thing, but to make us see that we were sinners that needed a savior.

I agree with the part you said about the distractions. If piercings are what drive you away from God, then that does become sin. Anything that makes you lose focus on your relationship with Him, should not be done.
Not everything is a sin, unless you let it become who you are and what you spend your time around.

Example: If you spend 8 hours a day on here or in whatever case, then claim you did not have time to read your Bible or have your quiet time, that is becoming your distraction.
Realize these things before they overcome you and stay in pray about it. Overcoming your most time consuming hobbies can not usually be done alone.
