Using other species in an argument isn't necessarily wrong, as you make it seem. As I said in my previous post, I was only stating that it's natural. The fact that it has been observed in animals (who do not have a conscious mind like we do) means that it can occur without requiring the person in question choosing to be either homosexual or heterosexual. That's literally the only thing I'm saying when I 'compare' humans to animals.
You may be right when you say that my sexual orientation could cause trouble in my family, but any kind of relationship can. Relationships always have their downsides, and I don't think that homosexual relationships cause significantly more harm than regular ones.
My girlfriend and I have known each other for nearly five years, have always been good friends, and we have been through many things together, some of which involved both our families, and we've been able to get through everything. Our relationship is strong, and we have the major parts of our future planned out already. Do you think it would be fair to say that this is a bad relationship, just because we happen to be two girls?
You're not listening. By your logic, rape, incest, murder are all natural because animals do these things. You also ignored where I said that I knew you'd try to justify it or ignore that it causes harm, and is not a good basis for whether something is good or bad.
