Last night I got bored at work and listed a few of the most common objections to Christianity. I plan to eventually compile a document listed roughly 3 points in answer to each of these objections. (I came up with 21 on my own, but these are the most common ones, I think.)
1. I cannot be a Christian because I do not believe in God.
2. Jesus Christ is really an offshoot of other miracle workers mentioned in pagan history and his life combines elements from several myths (i.e., the virgin birth, the resurrection).
3. God cannot exist because there is too much pain and suffering in the world.
4. The Bible cannot be trusted because it contains contradictions and errors.
5. I cannot be a Christian because Christians are too intolerant of issues such as abortion and homosexuality.
6. Christianity cannot possibly be true when there are hundreds of other world religions in the world.
7. Christianity claims that it is the only truth in the world and that it is the only way to heaven. Given all the religions in the world, this is simply an intolerant claim.
Please share with me some of the ones you have heard.
You don't see clearly to tell you the truth really your to blind to see that you have christianity water downed and do not yet fully understand it so therefore you make assumptions and non-valid unresarched points due to the lack of knowledge. Jesus is the messiah not merely a miracle worker, but a covenant to us gentiles that gives us a chance to enter the kingdom of heaven. You say God cannot exist because there is to much pain and suffering. If everything was perfect why would we see a need for god? As Jesus said he came here for the sick not the healthy. The reason why there is emotional pain and suffering is due to our sin. Our sin brings upon foolishness not righteousness. I know people have diseases. people pass away, and disasters happen. That should build you up as a person to do better not act a fool. You say the bible has errors.... The bible taught us how to build a boat, and we were still trying to find out how to build a boat. the bible told us about under water springs, and we just found about that in the 60's. The bible talked about nations that archeologists are beginning to uncover now. By the way mankind has tried to prove that theory many times that someone could of change the documents in the bible, but yet they found the dead sea scrolls. 99.99% of everything in the bible written down was word for word as in the scrolls. Their was only a couple spelling errors. This says a lot about this book that was made 2000 years after christ. A true christian shouldn't be intolerant over abortion and homosexuality, but yet not acceptant of it. That's sin that you presented yourself, and I do not judge others for mistakes. I make mistakes myself nobodies perfect, but it's up to you to want to do better for God. The reason why I say do better for God rather than changing is due to the fact God just wants a relationship with us. Once we get connected God not only as a body ( the church ) but emotionally and soon you'll physically want to do better and change becomes automatic without thought to it. Now you say there are hundreds of religions in the world. Yes I agree, but who's God is holy; Not theirs. My God sets himself apart from the world and as a christian I must do the same. Your parties may contain drinking, getting high, and etc. I know when my body throws a party we know how to have a good time sober, and not just remain clickish in our little groups but be inviting and encouraging to our neighbors so that God's kingdom may expand. I'm not saying you wont have clicks, because everyone has clicks emotionally, but thats why you set apart time to just chill and talk to build eachother up on an emotional level to get stronger within your faith that also creates disciples along the road. So who are you to say Christianity claims that their the only truth in the world. God is the truth, and Jesus's death is the evidence. Now let me tell you what God wants. God wants a relationship with you and not a weak relationship either. The kind of relation that a close father and son have. The only way to do that is to get in the word which is the bible, and to speak with him. That is done through prayer. So in my opinion your points are intolerable and is spoken from the lips of a fool, and only taken in logical by people who live in distorted human fantasies.

Q: What is christianity?
A: It is the belief that a two-thousand-year-old jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat an apple off a magical tree in a wonderland.
by the way in the bible it never says anything about an apple fyi
