No, I'm talking about your claim that animals were somehow "made for our benefit". This would assume that some entity created humans and then said "hey, they need some animals too!". Many animals around us today have ancestors that predate humans and their current form. The bible claims animals were created for men and we have domain over them. It's just stupid.

We are much smarter than animals, that is not being debated. Answer my question: Did you "choose" to be heterosexual?

BTW, I did choose to be heterosexual. It's my choice to do as I please. Nobody forces me to do anything. It was not predetermined.

I'm not trying to start an arguement, just wanting to know where your evidence comes from, more or less saying that people are either born gay or not.

There are mountains of evidence pointing towards a large biological component to homosexuality. But honestly, if homosexuality is a social ("sinners") construct why do animals exhibit the same behavior?

Full disclosure: I am not gay. I've grown up with and known gay people and by all accounts they were always gay. They never really made a conscious choice to be homosexual and many have even said if they had a choice they wouldn't want to be gay because of how difficult it is to be hated by so many. Who chooses to be shunned?

If you had to choose to be heterosexual, that means you're literally bisexual and chose not to act on your same sex attractions. I know I for one never chose heterosexuality. I'm solely attracted to the opposite sex. No choice involved for me.

And if you had no choice but to be heterosexual because you never had to choose because it was innate why do homosexual people have the ability to choose that?
