People read the bible to the letter to much.
My personal opinion.
The bible is more of a book of moral teachings and guidelines, rather than something that is to be followed like a puppy dog

We attempt, i say attempt because we are not perfect, to follow it because to us, the BIBLE is the word of God, that means, God speaks through this Bible, the words in this book are ever so real to a Christian who is born again, it becomes alive!
Why have so many men, women, and children died for this book? During the persecution in rome and in europe and even today in the worlds of Communism where Christianity and the Bible are highly persecuted and punishable by death, why would so many people die for it? Because it lives, it breathes, it cuts like a two-edged sword, it is bread from heaven, it is water that quenches thirst forever.

because that a win on Satan's part.. how much would I have been robbed if i just went to Heaven.
People have had visions of all those babies in Heaven and the Lord crying over them -- because they're just there.
It says in the bible that what you do on Earth you will be rewarded for in Heaven basically, so therefore if they didnt do anything -- theyre just kinda there.

This is not true. We are born in to sin and this explains the "Virgin birth".
