Isn't a Christians 'job' more or less to shine the light on others in the hope of leading them to heaven?

After we imagine it then what? Because none of that is even remotely believable to me. No atheist/agnostic debates the fact that if the bible was God's word, that it should probably be read or treasured; what we dispute is the legitimacy of claiming that such a book is really God's word.

This is true, but what if you are doing it right, you should be able to get others to understand it and believe, imho.

Your two statements contradict one another. How can you abide by your second statement while "letting other people alone in their religion or lack thereof"? Also, Christ has taken pity on humans so many times it's unbelievable yet you have the gall to say "if these people want to wallow in sin, then by all means let them"?

Our job as Christians is to spread Christ's love, meaning it is our JOB to NOT let other people want to wallow in sin or be led astray by other religious beliefs. While it's true that we shouldn't "force" anyone to accept Christ, it IS our job to make it undeniably clear that Christ is the One and Only.

I think it would be best to show love...not bashing him. He was only speaking outloud so you guys could hear him. Imagine if he hadnt come in here....wouldnt u be the same?....Imagine if he had come in here and said Christianity is stupid and God doesnt exist and started laughing at all of our posts about how much we love God and praise him.....But he didnt do that. He merely said a statement because he lacks the faith thats needed. Were here to help with that ...god showed you love, so show him love.
