About 90% of the bible is metaphoric why do ppl delude themselves to these ideas as dates and exact happenings.
Think outside the box. Entrust your feelings, pray, meditate w/e I dont like to see more mindless fanatics.

Could it be that the bible is implying that the spirit of christ resurrected/second comming as an upliftment of consiousness?
For man to finally realise that he has been stuck in a poo poo all this time and now he is a actually aware
and is doing something life preserving rather then life suicidal.

Yeah he will come like a thief in the night.
There was the story in a bible where it had a morale of being prepared at any moment.
All we can do is be prepared :)
