You must have faith. With that faith it will produce action. Confessing Jesus as lord and acknowledging that you are a sinner. Repenting from your sins and past life. Being baptized.

In your case, you seem to lack the repentance aspect of salvation. I am not one to judge you, but as a Christian I can tell you the truths of the bible. If you are sinning, and refuse to give it up.. you are choosing this world over God. There is a difference in sinning, and living a lifestyle of sin. If you are continuously committing the same act of sin over and over, knowing you will not and cannot stop.. you are not repenting. Jesus said it will be tough being a follower of him. Living a life for Christ is not easy by any means. Only you can choose what is more important.

As far as the situation with you and your school... Keep in mind that leaders in God's church are judged more harshly than those who are not. You are a leader in your chapel, and therefore take all responsibilites associated with that role.

If your intention on making this post was to have people tell you the feel good message of God, well I am not one to do that. Christians these days need to be faced with the harsh realities of what the bible says, and how they will be judged. God is love, but he is also just.

i believe that once saved always saved is wrong and is a lie that Satan spreads by using the word of God and twisting it around yes God forgives sins but that is only when you have asked him for forgiveness and repented from that particular sin

i'm glad that you've been making progress in stopping though it's really encouraging i hope that you and your gf will overcome this

I accepted Christ as my Savior 5 years ago and up until now i've been living it. I have no doubt whatsoever about my salvation and I am so thankful for it. I didn't really grow up in the church, but I am going to a Christian school right now and i'm preparing for college. I don't go to church, but I lead our chapel every friday morning and am the worship leader, so i'm in a tough position. I can't share this type of thing with others because way too many people look up to me. Over the past 5 months, i've been having sex with my girlfriend of 5 months and i've been feeling guilty, but I just can't stop. She herself is a Christian and said that she's willing to go through the whole relationship without sex, but I just can't find it in myself to do it. I'm almost scared what i'm doing to myself if I don't stop. I know God forgives, but I find it hard to rationalize in my mind that He would still want me even if I am voluntarily sinning against Him, and knowing what i'm doing.

Edit: I don't know if you guys are "once saved always saved people", but I am and have been, and I am in no way using that as an excuse to get away with sin. I'm just almost doubting that I can't lose it if I don't stop.
