Where in the bible does it say you cannot stretch your earlobes?

You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves

What really matters here is how literal you want to take the bible. But that's pretty much true for all issues with religion

This is CHRISTIANITY forums.. if you want to answer to this question put yourself in a CHRISTIAN perspective, and they do follow the bible.

The main question was directed AS a christian,.. and THIS IS A SIN for christianity, no matter how you wanna paint it to your likes.. ANYTHING related to vanity IS a sin.

And the main reason why people stretch their earlobes is VANITY. Absolutely nothing else. And THAT is a SIN under Christianity.

Again, how far do we take this "vanity" argument? Cutting your hair is vanity. Trimming your beard is vanity. Trimming your fingernails is vanity. Are these sins as well?

it matters how literal you wanna be in the bible. people vary on the issue. some believe that it is a sin, some believe that it should not matter. honestly you should be able to tell with the holy spirit.
