While there are differences and nuances in each language, to say that you cannot get an accurate translation is not entirely true. The original manuscripts are available for anyone to look at, which includes updating existing translations that are deemed inaccurate. It's essentially a peer review, if you want to call it that. It turns out that our existing translations that have been passed down for the last thousands of years turn out to be very accurate, with only minor typographic translation issues that were found and have subsequently been corrected in pretty much all modern bibles from the last 50+ years.

The same holds true for the Greek portions.

To say that "it has changed" is such a blatant misconception, it borderlines on dishonesty (lying).

This is a good site that allows you to compare translations across multiple bibles: http://www.biblegateway.com/ -- For most verses, you can easily ascertain that the translated verses rarely differ within context across all translations.

Note: Yes, there are some branches of Christianity that have modified things more than others, but in general we're referring to the more common and heavily reviewed transliterations.
