KJV is from the 1600's..... so I'd say yes. People don't seem to like the "thee's" and "thou's" but KJV is more accurate than NIV. Even better would be Ferrar Fenton.

The NIV has quite a bit of paraphrase. I don't agree with the company that sells it and do not explicitly side with the minority script.

Truth is a person not an idea or concept.

People seek truth as a set of facts to comfort them. Ponder that a while, in light of what I said, within why you are pursuing truth.

If you can not be critical of you own thought process, you can never percieve any legitimate need to look beyond yourself.
