Everyone has troubles in life; God made it that way.
Think of life as a test of faith, much like the life of Jesus.
No matter how terrible you are during certain points of life, God wants you to keep faith.
In effect, miracles start to happen and that's how the Word of God spreads.

ill give you a tl;dr version of a story in the bible

a man praised god, he had every thing you could ask for.

god says to the devil, see how he has endless love for me?

devil says its because you spoil him. take it away and he surly wont praise you

god sets fire to his crop and home, his live stock die off, etc, takes everything away from him

man still praises god

guess where he is now

the lord giveth and taketh away!
keep your faith. its the most important thing in your life anyways. who cares if you lose all your shit, the one thing you dont wanna lose is faith.

I care if I lose all my shit. Are you serious? Do you know what it's like to lose your whole family except your mom by age 16, and it not stopping then?
Thanks for the post but "who cares if you lose all your shit" is a ridiculous thing to say.

And thanks to all the serious posts in here.

He should respond with an apology.

Is there anything specifically, you want us to pray for you?

I believe he is referring to the story of Job (no theologian here but I recognize that) and God did that and continued to praise Him and He did lose a lot. It might be something for you to read to see how that even in the midst of his suffering, God was there and eventually all was restored in the end. It's hard now but I promise you that it's worth it. I will quote a sermon quote that I heard...God can turn a malediction to a benediction.

Stay strong brother! :)

We are to be thankful in ALL things, good and bad. Consider the following scriptures:

"In every thing <give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1 Thess 5:18 KJV

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Phil 4:6 KJV
"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Eph 5:20 KJV

When men succumb to and suffer for sin, God cannot be blamed for such, "for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither does He tempt any man" (James 1:13). Four verses later, James writes, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights."Some things, both good and bad, happen through no credit or fault of our own. Some things happen because of the laws of nature (tornado, flood, etc).

Some things happen due to sins of others (death at the hands of a drunk driver, etc). We must trust that the will of God will be done in all things.

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

1 Peter 4:11 (King James Version) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
