Hey, have you ever taken a class in school and when the teacher was teaching he made a mistake, and all the students kind of pause but then accept it as fact because of the Teacher being of a higher level of knowledge in the subject? Later on the test you all get the question wrong, that had that fundamental error in it, and you feel as though you should have said something? After the test you take a lower grade because of the mistake and move on. Moral of the story, just because someone is "greater" at something doesnt mean there isnt a reason to question what they say, and whats wrong with asking questions? If we were created as such.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with questioning faith. Even one of Jesus' disciples, Thomas, questioned whether Jesus really came back to life. And, what did Jesus do? He didn't call Thomas a sinner for his doubts, but showed Thomas the markings in his hands.
