If that was the case, the bible means nothing. The documents secured by christians and well i'm assuming rarely heard of mean nothing. ( i've heard of these documents once, its sounds very serious)
Save a life/Take a life, means nothing
our purpose is what our environment requires for our survival and to spread the seed of life. just like animals. yet we monkeys evolved, and became the most superior brains in the animal kingdom.
the bible was written by who. hell i could write a whole story back in the day and try and convince people of this spirituality in which cannot be proven.
save a life and take a life is the same as in the animal kingdom, its eat or get eaten. defend or perish. fight to mate with females or dont reproduce.
the world, and all creatures living in it is just what it is, yet people thrive to find the reason behind it in which they really wont
