Alcohol effects people differently. Drunkedness is a sin. Having a drink  is not in my opinion; however, I think it certainly kills one's Christian witness.

I challenge you to show me anywhere in the Bible that says Jesus drank alcohol. Water to wine, agreed. Jesus drinking alcohol, disagree.

You're calling Jesus out to be an enabler. That's not cool.

Are sins like amendments? Were they all predetermined? If so, do they predate the technology of fermentation? If not, who decided to change up the list?

Help me out.

The wine was symbolic of Jesus' blood - not nice to twist people's words.

Can you post something less convoluted?

I am calling Jesus my Lord and Savior.

I refuse to cast my pearls before the swine. I won't get into any pointless conversations with you. Have a blessed day.

John 19:28 After this, when Jesus realized that everything was now completed, he said (in order to fulfill the Scripture), "I'm thirsty."

John 19:29 A jar of sour winewas standing there, so they put a sponge full of the wine on a branchof hyssop and held it to his mouth.

John 19:30 After Jesus had taken the wine, he said, "It is finished." Then he bowed his head and released his spirit.

Not straight forward at all:

John 19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost

The purpose of this drink was to prolong life and increase the torture and pain. It was a cheap, soured wine used by soldiers.

Verse 30 says when He received it........recieving and drinking are two different things. I may recieve a dress for a gift but doesnt mean I am going to wear it.
Lastly, whether you call it sour wine or vinegar, it was clearly not wine as we know it. Jesus said "I thirst". When he recieved or was given the wine/vinegar, the Bible does not say he drank it.

It just didnt happen.

Pretty sad - you purposely take Bible verses out of context to try and defame Christ yet the result is still the same...

I just fucking love how you change your standards like that. You challenged me to find somewhere in the bible where it said that Jesus drank wine. I found one for you and now you are denying it altogether. Just face it, I did win your challenge and I won an argument over the internet. You just can't go around demanding something and when you finally get it, you come up with some kind of excuse.

Oh yeah and I see that you chose to read it from a different bible version and use that on me. Face it, I did find somewhere where it said that Jesus drank wine, you failed to specify whether it was forced or voluntary. You were very vague on that.

I copied and pasted that from that link I gave to you. I didn't change anything.
