i would think the verses refering you not to be drunk are saying do not become A drunk, or drunkard. as in, an alcoholic who is addicted to alcohol. i find it hard to believe becoming inebriated is a sin when jesus' first miracle was getting 100 people hammered for 4 days on the best wine ever made. if he not only failed to speak out against becoming drunk, but actually enabled it, then why would it be sinful?

this...if your getting convicted then its probably not a good idea we are children and children need to get corrected its not like having a drink our two is bad..but it does say woah to the drunkard.i wouldnt say G-D hates drunkards its the same as any sin .

"fornication" "adultery" its all the same to him but dont give up because once you belong to G-D he is not going to let go ..just get something that you like to do thats not destructive "mines music" and yea i have heard alot of people say that the water was unclean thats why they drank wine.."thats not really correct" the fact is wine is a staple in judaism and its culture for thousands of years.

I have a drink every so often, nothing wrong with it as long as you are careful. In fact, I had two beers last night.

Always in moderation is the key :)

I am not a perfect person, but since 2002 I have had to take a medication that prohibits alchohol consumption. I "Beleive" that in moderation is ok. If this is a morality question maybe an ordained by God, man of God should help you.

My wife likes a lil wine when we can afford to go out to a nice restaurant( we try for once a month to have a date). Moderation is a vauge word. If I could have a glass with her once a month I would. And our church uses wine for The Lords Supper.

the line is tipsy...u have went too far. You drink in moderation. Everything in this world is in moderation. Beer, Wine are good for your body....BUT ONLY IN MODERATION!

@greydoom, God does not want us to do whatever we want and then just believe from the bottom of our hearts. that is wrong, we must seek God with all of our hearts and put him first, instead of putting ourselves first.

God should always come first in a Christian's life.

you don't understand Christianity, why do you waste time coming here?

Would you love an act of violence, of murder, of rape? Would you not hate those things?
