Show me that the lord is worth believing.

I have never felt any degree of turning towards god for help, or in any ways felt conviced of his presence, even though im raised in a christian family.
But being raised in a christian family, I have seen people being 100% convinced about his existance. I have a hard time understanding this, believing so "hard" in an entity never seen or proven to exist by anyone.
To me christianity (or any religion) goes against any sense of logic, but I truly am facinated by people who can have such deep faith.
I sometimes wonder how this would feel, and I also sort of wanna experience it for myself.
I might have typed kinda fast on my first post, as it could seem like im here to flame/laugh at believers, which is not the case.

I find religious discussions intriguin, and I often participate in them, but I have yet to find the person to "put a doubt in my mind"

There is almost no way to show you on a computer game fourm that the Lord is worth believing. But I may suggest that you look to one of your closest friend who actually have deep faith in the Lord and ask him why he does

You can also question a pastor of a small church in your area " I mean small church " Not those super mega churches. Why did he continue his work in helping people. Normally those people who doesn't force the bible down your throat are the ones
that can give you the almost correct answer

P.S Personally I dont look at christianity as a religion , like I said before it never was :). I believe Jesus didn't started it out as a religion anyways He just wanted to bring everyone back to the creator . He wanted to have a relationship with you

see this is actually my problem in a nutshell
It's impossible to show over a game forum cause there is no facts. None. Everything else in life can be explained by pretty numbers, formulaes and chemical reactions.
You see I dont exactly believe in the "modern" physics such as m/string-theory because they're pretty far out, but still I have the doubt it MIGHT be true, because a lot of people, a lot smarter than me, researches this stuff for a living, and there is a lot of fomulaes etc. backing it up.

However regarding religion no such degrees of "proof" has ever been made, even though the number of believers greatly outnumbers the scientists. There is no proof, only faith

I think this forum was created not to spread the word on Jsp gaming forum. If someone manages to even get interested in the word its basically a plus and they may inquire more about it .

This forum was created for fellow christian to come in a take a break from everything else that they are doing



A lot of things in life are build upon faith, there is no need to proof anything Scientific proof is what skeptics use as an argument to deny certain theorys . Proof will be given one day that I am sure But when it happens you might be far behind from the race

There are alot of things in life that are not yet proven but can you say they don't actually exist ?

There are lots of natural occurance that science can't prove yet. Its a big "Question Mark" , but its happening , if everyone needs prove of existence , then it probably do not fit into what God actually wanted from us

He wanted Faith , he wanted love . God is as human as we can be , he made us exactly like him Just that we have more bad habits than he does

God occasionally gets very pissed of in the Old Testament . So he created Eve to accompany Adam and also for them to reproduce and he didn't create Adam and Adam Because he knows that
The only way for them to have offsprings is that Adam somehow manage to poke Eve And that was how it meant to be

So during the incident at Sodom, What he say was completely what he didn't wanted it to be. You have Man poking Man , Women and Women and most of all you have everyone poking everyone in a mass orgy kinda event.

There are only a few dudes in Sodom who still hold true to what he says and they were saved. So God gets pissed , and summon one of his Angels to completely pwn the whole damn city .

That for one showed that he is purty human like us because he made us in the likeness of him anyways ( Anger is a common trait amongst Humans. )

God has a occasiona betting Habit too

He made a bet which Satan on Job saying that no matter what happens to Job , Job will still be faithful to him.

If you read the account of Job in the old testament you will know how much he suffered even though he was leading the way that God wanted him to his whole life.

Well God won the Bet and lucifer aka Satan was Pwn.

So what makes God ' God'.

So one day he finally said to himself , ok fine , I have prophets and dudes that have been following me for like ages and they did a purty good job. But all i really wanted was that all my kids can come back to me and believe in me. Someone that spreads a message that will gather everyone and every race that were the decendents of of the first 2 dudes that i made.

So he did the ultimate sacrifice , he send his son to die and atone for all our sins , that was the ultimate sacrifice . And that was Jesus , which also means from now on when you do something wrong your sin is already washed away when you believe in Jesus and seriously Repent from those sins ( you know they are bad -_-)

That doesnt mean that you can go and kill some dude and say oh I believe in Jesus and your sins are ultimately forgiven. Your Sins will only be forgiven if you actually geniunely believe in Christ himself .

If you do believe in Christ himself you would probably follow his word and ofc you will not be doing stupid ridiculous things
