I'm not a fan of ignoring blatant double standards.

It's a flawed system.

Also,  it drives me crazy that there are some legitmate threads that end up getting closed but these remain open.

Yeah, it's not a double standard. I did the same thing for Discordianism for a week or so before I got tired of it and had too much other shit to do to go digging up scripture. Someone even tried to do the atheist word of the day, but didn't have the wherewithal to stick with it.

Why don't you try it? Its easy to speculate but I doubt the mods would say anything. Although is there a need for an atheist word of the day? Is atheism that crucial a portion of your life that you ruminate on your lack of faith on a daily basis?

I get what you're saying, and I'm saying, ignore it. If it bothers you, let it go. I honestly marcuz is just trolling the shit out of all of you.

That's exactly what I just said. I could start an Atheist Word Of The Day but I recognize that it would just be spam, so I won't.

If there's not a need for such a type of thread, then what is the need for a thread such as this? After all, switch out Encouraging with Atheism and there's llittle to no difference.

I know you're saying ignore it, and I could, but the system is flawed.

Ironic though that I think this is the most discussion these threads have ever accumulated.

You still don't get the point.

If this is ok then shall I post "Atheist Word Of The Day" threads? Sure, I could. But I won't because I'm aware that it's spam and doesn't contribute to anything. Plus, they would get shut down because the mods in this thread practice favoritism.

Also, how are they productive at all? Aside from saying "Wow, that's so encrouaging, thank you!" how does anything happen in this thread? Example:

Go ahead and post "atheist word of the day," nothing is stopping you. These threads may not be "productive" to you, but that doesn't mean they're not productive to someone else. Seriously, mind your own business. These threads do nothing to hurt you.

I viewed it as a double standard when they wouldn't let you post your encouraging words of the day in the thread entitled no other than: Encouraging Word Of The Day.

I already expressed why that would be such a stupid idea.

I'm not one to be a hypocrite.

Yes, these threads aren't productive to me. But how are they productive at all is my point.

I think you should rethink your beliefs if you're trying to equate atheism with a religion. It isn't hurting anyone, and its you might consider it spam, but 75% of all the threads and replies on this forum are spam. You only single these threads out because they have a religious angle. Let it go. Honestly.

If no one reads them and replies except for shanny, he might stop. But you're just giving him an excuse to post as its generating responses.

No, I single them out because they're the most constant (daily thread) and is supported by the mods of the sub-forum.

Like I've said before, the content mattters not to me.

Yea you are. You pick and choose which spam posts to harass. You spam inside spam posts and don't see the hypocrisy? Really?
